Change of Venue, Broward County

Hello,
I'm trying to find a form to request a change of venue that I can use in Broward County. My wife filed for divorce in Broward, and we don't live there, neither one of us do. She lives in Palm Beach County, and I live in Miami-Dade. I still don't know why she did that. Thank you for your help.

Motion for Change of Venue

The form that you're looking for is a motion form. We have come across general "fill in the blank" motion forms online. From what you said, the reason for your change in venue is likely to be "inconvenient forum". "Forum inconviens" if you want to use the Latin. Soon we'll be posting pro se motion forms on this site. In Florida, it is generally just fine to file for divorce in any county, providing there are no children of the marriage. Years ago, when there was such a thing as privacy, divorcing couples would file for divorce in a county where they were not known, hoping to avoid embarrassment.
