Financial Affidavit

Where can I find a Florida financial affidavit long form? What is the difference between the long form and the short form? I'm getting divorced, and there are no children, no property, nothing. We split up everything last year when we split up. Why do I have to file a financial affidavit at all?

Dear Jake,
We don't understand why people in your situation are required to file a financial affidavit. Many people feel it is intrusive for the government to require a financial affidavit when there is no dispute over money or property. However, those are the rules.

The long form is for people with annual income over $50,000 per year; and the short form is for people who earn less.
