Invitations are sent directly from the
Webinar site - www.anymeeting.com which requests that you fill out a
short registration form. Most of our webinars are Members Only events. After the
Registration Form is completed, registrants receive a Confirmation Form.
Use the Confirmation Form to connect on the day of the Webinar. The
Confirmation Form includes the link to connect; the phone
number for the live conference call; and a PIN number. We request, if at all possible, that participants use their phone set, rather than their computer speakers to avoid audio interference.

Taking Your Business to the Next Level. Presented on July 23, 2016. We discussed information like: How to grow your document prep business. Is there anything such thing as growing too fast? Identifying obstacles, setting goals, and the art and science of cultivating strategic alliances.
Marketing, Sales & News, was presented for the first time on Saturday May 21, 2016. We discussed aspects of marketing and sales that many document preparers may need help with. Things like: What is a unique selling proposition? What's the difference between a feature and a benefit? And how do I recognize a buying question.
UPL Summit - This webinar was held on Saturday January 16th. We discussed how to avoid the perils, pitfalls, and persecutions of unfounded UPL accusations. AND what to do if you are investigated. We hold this webinar regularly to keep members informed.
Florida Family Adoptions - webinar held Saturday, October 24, 2015. This was the first adoption webinar we offered. Each attendee received a Certificate of Attendance and 1 CEU. We discussed the basics of adoption under Florida Statute Chapter 63; and announced that our online course - Florida Family Adoptions - is nearly complete and should be ready for enrollment the first week in November.
FALDP Certification and Conference Preview - webinar held Saturday August 29, 2015. We held a similar webinar on July 11, 2015. Some members were not able to attend, so we are held it a second time. Becoming an FALDP Certified legal document preparer (LDP) will benefit you and your customers.
Business in the Digital Age & Lead Program - presented on December 13. We discussed how to make your virtual business model work. How to find customers, deliver documents, follow up, and create repeat business and a customer referral program. Some of us rarely see our customers, and have maximum flexibility built in to our businesses. This business model frees you to spend more time with family, to travel, and to pursue other business and educational goals. We will also be highlighting our new Lead Program and how to make it work for you and your business. And we reminded members about our BOGO online classes and our FALDP Ambassador Program.
Conference ReCap; Ambassador Program: and Making the Most of Your Membership - presented on October 11. We briefly went over the conference information as a recap, for those who could not attend. The FALDP Ambassador Program is taking shape. We announced that the first order of vehicle signs is in, and we sent them out to volunteers along with FALDP ID Badges, brochures and information. So far we have volunteers for Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Sarasota, Broward, and Hillsborough. Members in other counties who would like to be an FALDP Ambassador please submit your application.
E-filing for Pro Se Litigants - presented on Saturday July 12, 2014. As of June 21, 2014, pro se litigants have been able to e-file their court documents. Attorneys have been able to e-file for some time, and we hope this change will increase pro se litigant's access to the court system.
Preparing Parenting Plans & Modification of Parental Responsibility - presented on 4/5/14. Information included when a Parenting Plan is required; the differences between the three Florida Parenting Plans; and introduced our new course on the subject.
Making the Most of Your Membership - presented on 3/15/14 -Information provided includes best practices and how to use the tools we offer to grow your business: Educational opportunities, marketing assistance, networking, collaboration, and credibility. FALDP now invites members to affiliate with us in offering the Co-Parenting Course, which is required of all divorcing parents. An updated version was presented on 2/28/2015 and 3/5/2016. These webinars are offered periodically, usually in February, July, and October.
Pro Se Foreclosure Defense - presented on 12/7/2013. We focused on basic foreclosure defense information; managing personal stress while fighting foreclosure; and emerging issues in foreclosure defense.
Post Conviction Document Preparation & Conference Recap - presented on 10/5/2013. Many conference attendees asked about document preparation for Early Termination of Probation. Our newest course includes information about early termination as well as Seal & Expunge; Restoration of Civil Rights; and Reputation Repair and Management.
