What is "Affidavit of Corroborating Witness" for?

Hi,
I bought the divorce packet for Pinellas County, and among other forms that I'm not sure what to do with there is a form called - Affidavit of Corroborating Witness. What is that for? I've lived in Florida most of my life and so has my wife. Do we need to use that form? I don't want to do anything wrong and have to pay the filing fee twice. Thank you.

Hi,
That Affidavit is to prove residency when you don't have a Florida driver's license or any other way to prove that you've lived here for at least six months. I know its confusing when you get the form packet and there are so many extra forms that you don't need. If you or your wife has a Florida driver's license or a Florida state ID or some other identification that shows that you've been living in Florida more than six months -- that should be all you need.
