Service of Process
by: Staff, FALDP

Hi Shannon,

In Florida Service of Process must be done by a sheriff or private process server. Some states allow one party to hand deliver paperwork to the other - not in Florida. We suggest, Melisa Thompson of "You've Been Served Process Service, LLC" - 727-776-2093. Although she is not personally located in Seminole County, she may know a process server she can refer you to. Also try the Florida Association of Private Process Servers - www.fapps.org
