Hi,
You may not realize that you're asking more than one question. But, I'll give it a go. The short answer is that if you want Florida to recognize an out of state order you file a Petition to Domesticate a Foreign Order. And yes, "foreign" in this context means out of state, not out of the country. Copy and paste this link, and you'll see what information the form asks for:

The next part of your question sounds like the children may not be residing in Florida, but they may be in some other part of the U.S. If that is the case, the jurisdiction for the custody and visitation generally follows the children. This is according to the Uniform Child Custody and Jurisdiction Enforcement Act.
